Lynn Gellermann is the executive director of TechGROWTH Ohio, a public/private partnership managed by Ohio University, which provides seed capital and venture development services to start-up technology companies and entrepreneurs in southeast Ohio. Under his direction, as part of the Ohio Third Frontier-supported entrepreneurial ecosystem, TechGROWTH Ohio has been responsible for more than $360 million in regional economic activity. Gellermann also serves as the executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Ohio University, a partnership between the College of Business and the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs. The Center provides academic programs, experiential student learning activities and technology commercialization support for faculty and student innovators. The Center has been recognized nationally and internationally for its achievements.
In these capacities, Gellermann provides significant leadership to Ohio University and the State of Ohio for important statewide initiatives, including the I-Corps@Ohio program and the Ohio Innovation Fund. Lynn brings decades of venture capital, banking and economic development experience to these endeavors.
He earned his bachelor’s from Hastings College and his MBA from the University of Colorado.
