Allison DeJong is Propeller’s senior water manager, where she oversees all work with Propeller’s water and coastal entrepreneurs and leads implementation of water policy, strategy, and special projects. DeJong has extensive experience in planning and economic development; she co-authored the City of New Orleans’ strategic plan for economic development, ProsperityNOLA. Allison developed benefit-cost analyses, application narratives, and contributed to community outreach strategies for multiple applications to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s National Disaster Resilience Competition, resulting in millions of dollars in funding for innovative water management and coastal resilience projects.
DeJong is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Louisiana State University.
